“Your treasure - your perfection - is within you already. But to claim it, you must leave the busy commotion of the mind and abandon the desires of the ego and enter into the silence of the heart.” Elizabeth Gilbert
I am currently a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work Associate working towards licensure.
I received my Masters of Social Work (Advanced Practice) in 2011 graduating with distinction from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, NSW Australia. I have had my MSW recognized and accredited by the Council on Social Work Education USA. I also hold two undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Social Work Honors and a Bachelor of Community Welfare both obtained in NSW, Australia.
I began my social work career in 1999 working with youth in shelters and recreational programming. I then went on to work in child welfare agencies for more than than 15 years in crisis intervention; child protection and family support roles including two years working in the United Kingdom and in outback Australia with indigenous communities. I have also had experience in working in direct roles with people with intellectual and physical disabilities; an adult psychiatric ward and older peoples social work.
I moved to the United States from Australia in 2015. I fell in love with the PNW and decided to make this my permanent home.
